Ed Entrepreneur was initially launched last year and ran for several months before I took it down. I began pursuing other activity and did not want to put the attention that I thought was necessary into making it work.
Recently, I decided to re-launch the blog, but to change the type of content. I want this blog to be more personal and less third person. It is after all, what my life is, and what I want it to be. It might even be what you want your life to be.
Building a following is a challenge for any blogger and trying to ear a living doing it only adds to the difficulty. Yet, many bloggers are earning a great living just writing in their blogs. I was able to get some insight into what it really takes to make it in the information marketing business last January when I visited with several super affiliate marketers and bloggers in Las Vegas at the Affiliate Summit West show.
After checking out the sites of the “real” pros, I was able to identify several sites that are start-up case studies and seeing what it takes to make money blogging.
Many of these sites report their progress such as earnings and visitors. I thought this to be a great idea and have decided to publish my earnings from this site as well.
Of course, you will have to register and be approved for private invitation only site membership to get the reports including strategies to gain readers and to find out how much I make each month starting with a review of August 2010. Registering a request for membership is currently free, but it won’t be forever so don’t miss out!
